About the village of Perranuthnoe

Perranuthnoe is a historic coastal village, quiet and unspoilt and in many ways just as it was 100 years ago. 5 miles East of Penzance and 10 miles South of St Ives and with a beautiful clean, sandy and safe beach ideal for swimming, surfing or just paddling and playing in. It has much to offer and is an ideal place for children to play on the beach and around the waters edge.

Tucked away just off the A390 to Helston with just the church, the village pub and the converted Lynfield farm buildings it mostly remains the same. Old farm cottages now sympathically renovated and the Lynfield Craft Centre, the home of Cornish Wools and Village Crafts.

There are places to eat, the Victoria Inn offers an amazing menu created by Chef/Owner Stewart Eddy who trained with well known master chefs such as Raymond Blanc and Michael Caines. A traditional style pub, it has a real welcome with Cornish beers, cosy corners, soft lighting and a wood burning stove, wonderful in Winter.

Visit the Cabin Café down by the beach for a traditional pasty or toasted sandwich or come and stay a while with Jenny and Lisa of the Peppercorn Café on the Lynfield Craft Centre who offer a more bistro type menu and have a real reputation for good wholesome food, well worth a visit.

There are places to stay in the village too, some of which are mentioned below so why not come to Perranuthnoe, stay in the village, have a meal, take a walk along the cliff path to Prussia Cove to the East and Marazion to the West and of course come and visit our Cornish Wools shop at Village Crafts on the Lynfield Craft Centre.

We would love you to come and see us.
